Rian Chatterton
MS, CCC-SLP, COM, QOM, TOM
Certified Orofacial Myologist/ Prompt Trained
Rian Chatterton has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 14-years. Rian has worked in a variety of settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in 2002 from Idaho State University. In 2004 she completed her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathologist from Idaho State University. Rian has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of communication disorders. She has specialized in areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication and Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. Rian took over ownership of Boise Speech and Hearing Clinic in the summer of 2013.
Rian holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a State of Idaho License for Speech Language Pathology. In 2016 Rian completed her certification process with the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and is now 1 of 2 Certified Orofacial Myologists in the state of Idaho.
Rian has called Boise her home most of her life and LOVES the Treasure Valley! She loves to cook, be outdoors camping and hiking. Rian is a “self-help” book junkie and is always reading 3 books at a time. She loves coming up with crafts for herself and her kids to do. Her kids might say that their life is a constant sound track and dance party as she is always making up songs for everything and embarrassing them with her mediocre dance moves. Rian LOVES her job because she gets to play and make a difference every day!

Melanie Henstrom

As a young girl, Melanie developed a passion for the birth world watching her father deliver babies. After she received her BS, she worked in adoption until she had her first child. She then became a stay at home mom for 16 years raising her 6 children. She breastfed them all, including tandem nursing her twins. Once all her children were in school, she became certified as a postpartum doula mainly serving families with twins, and triplets. A few years later she went back to school to become an IBCLC, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has served over a thousand mothers and babies over the course of several years as a postpartum doula, and lactation consultant.
It has been her experience that many mothers do not have the resources to become successful at breastfeeding. She has extensive training and experience with tongue ties, and is able to educate mothers to make the right choice for their baby. She is also trained in infant massage, rhythmic movements, and craniosacral therapy. Her passion is to educate, nurture, and support new moms and babies through their breastfeeding struggles in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. Her reviews alone speak to how she has helped save breastfeeding for so many.

Dr. Lenore Filler Morrissey
MPT, DPT, OCS, CFC
Dr. Lenore Morrissey is a highly experienced physical therapist who specializes in treating disorders of the head, neck, and airway. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Whittier College in 1993 before going on to earn her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 1998.
Dr. Morrissey has over 20 years of experience working in various physical therapy settings. She is certified in manual orthopedic physical therapy and craniofacial physical therapy. She has also received specialized training in treating temporomandibular joint disorders, oral myofunctional therapy, oxygen advantage instruction and posture-related breathing dysfunction.
In 2005, Dr. Morrissey opened her own private practice in Rancho Palos Verdes, which she operated for 11 years. During this time, she recognized a growing need for expertise in head, neck and airway issues, which led her to pursue advanced training and certifications in these areas.
Today, Dr. Morrissey sees and treats patients in Boise, Idaho at Airway Physio Doc. She takes an integrated, holistic approach focused on restoring proper alignment, posture, and function of the head, neck, thorax, and tongue to improve overall airway health. Her goal is to help patients heal themselves through non-invasive treatment.
When she’s not working, Dr. Morrissey enjoys staying active through sports and other hobbies. We are proud to have her expertise in craniofacial and airway-focused physical therapy at our practice.

Lisa McHatton
Client Retention Specialist
Lisa has lived in the Treasure Valley for 30 years. She graduated from nearby Centennial High School and went to Boise State University to originally pursue a degree in Health Promotion. She is currently finishing up her degree in Psychology at Boise State. Lisa has worked in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and a Group Fitness Instructor and in the legal field as a Legal Assistant and Contract Review Specialist.
Lisa and her amazing husband, Abe, together have 5 wonderful children. They love to go to church together, spend time exploring, and finding new restaurants. Lisa loves going for walks on the Greenbelt, baking yummy treats and doing anything outdoors with her beautiful family. She loves to travel, especially to warm, tropical destinations and is always looking forward to her next adventure.
Katie Bracken
Credentialing Specialist
Katie is married and has two children. She moved to Idaho for her husbands job in 2007 and quickly made Boise their home.
Katie has several years experience working retail, as an assistant for an accounting office and most recently with children at an Elementary School.
In her free time, Katie enjoys going to the movies with her family, hiking, traveling, watching her boys play sports, and spending time with her two cats.
