
Marla Ambrose
MS, CCC-SLP
Marla received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University. She has provided therapeutic speech/language services for the last 18 years in a variety of settings, which include: outpatient rehabilitation, sensory integration centers and early intervention for the 0-3 population. Marla enjoys working with infants and children with pediatric feeding difficulties. She is currently working on getting IBCLC certified to support babies and parents with breast and/or bottle feeding.
The majority of Marla’s postmaster’s education has focused on helping children with feeding and oral motor development, including transitioning to solid foods, feeding aversions, and oral motor dysfunction. In addition to her continuing education courses, Marla has training in orofacial myofunctional therapy and craniosacral therapy. During her time away from work, Marla enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs (goldendoodles) and outdoor adventures.
